Procedure for Purchase of Stained Glass Window at the Home

Once you have determined that your organization wishes to donate a stained glass window, contact any trustee of the Firemen’s Home, who will have a member of the Chapel Committee contact you to discuss your window.

The cost of the window is $8,000.00. The dimensions are 21 inches wide and 18 inches high.

A deposit of $1,500.00 will be required to begin design of the window. Upon receipt of the deposit, a design consultant from the window manufacturer will contact you to assist in the design of your window. You must use the window manufacturer selected by FASNY and the Firemen’s Home.

Once a final design has been selected, it must be submitted to the FASNY Chapel Committee for approval.

Once approved and the balance of the cost of the window is received by the Chapel Committee, fabrication of the window will begin.

When fabrication of the window is completed, you will be notified by the Chapel Committee, and a date for the installation of the window will be determined. Every effort will be made to have the window in place for any activity you have planned at the Home.

Please keep in mind that each window is an original design and allow ample time for design and construction delays if you have a specific date that you wish the window dedicated.
