| Formal Dedication Weekend Ceremonies and Parade |
 On behalf of the Members of the Firemen’s Home, We are Proud to Invite You Formal Dedication for Your New Firemen’s Home Hudson, NY Friday, September 14TH – Sunday, September 16TH, 2007 There will be many events over the weekend starting with a reception at the FASNY Museum of Firefighting on Friday evening. On Saturday, there will be formal dedications and ribbon cutting of sponsored Home rooms with photo opportunities. The Home will contact those who have donated rooms to set up a time for the dedication and pictures. If it is not possible to do this Friday, Saturday or Sunday, a separate acceptable date will be set at the donor’s convenience. The grand parade is scheduled to lineup at 11:00 a.m. Sunday and start at noon. A parade application is included below on this web page. Completed applications should be forwarded to The Firemen’s Home, 125 Harry Howard Avenue, Hudson, N.Y., 12534, c/o Dedication Parade Committee. The parade committee will acknowledge your application. The formal dedication of the new Firemen’s Home is scheduled to take place at 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Food stations will operate at no charge from late morning until 5:00 or 6:00 p.m., except during the dedication program. Camping sites will be available on a first come, first serve basis. There are a limited number with water and electricity. Should you have questions regarding camping contact Norm Eberle, 716-823-4802. Due to a closing of certain areas of the grounds no campers will be placed on Sunday. If you are planning to stay in a local motel for the weekend we would advise you to make reservations as soon as possible as housing is filling up quickly. Long Island Day will present a special program Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The members of the Home are looking forward to meeting you-the members of FASNY and all of the volunteer fire service to thank you for all you have done for us. FIRE DEPARTMENT RIBBON-CUTTING FOR INDIVIDUAL MEMBER ROOMS: Ribbon-Cuttings of individual member rooms sponsored by fire departments, families, individuals, counties and sectional organizations from around the State will take place on Saturday, September 15th. Fire departments and others are encouraged to attend and participate in these ceremonies. Please contact Jim Wright (Ph: 607-334-2132) or David Jacobowitz (Ph: 315-736-1656) to sign up. PARADE INFORMATION: We would like to have your department, members, officers, employees, commissioners, ladies auxiliaries and families join the Grand Parade and festivities. Line-Up at 11:00 a.m. and Parade at 12:00 p.m. SHARP. Please be sure to complete a Parade Application. Send your colors! Reserve a place in the line of march for your department and/or band!
