Life is about family and taking care of those we love.
At the Firemen’s Home, our wonderful staff treats our residents as part of a larger family…the members of the volunteer fire services of New York State. A male or female firefighter (and their firefighter spouse) may be admitted to the Home from one’s home, hospital, other healthcare facility or program, or from the community in general.
After two years of construction, the magnificent new Firemen’s Home now offers truly state-of-the-art quality healthcare in an environment designed exclusively for those who served their communities so well.
Now it's our turn to take care of you or your loved one.
Our Social Service staff works closely with families in the admission process to the Firemen's Home. Feel free to call us with any questions. Ask for Sophia Kamenovsky, Director of Social Services.
Trustees of the Firemen's Home are also available to meet with firefighters and their families wherever they may be located throughout New York State.
